MARCHE EUROPEEN

Yesterday, as expected the FED increased their interest rates at + 0.25 %. After the FED’s presidency conference interest rates could rise during first quarter 2016, always with an inflation objective at 2%.

This morning Euro drops until 1.0850.

Markets still sluggish for all commodities following crude oil decline.

About cereals and oilseeds, if Argentina peso devaluates it should increase their competitiveness on the international stage impacting Chicago followed by Paris.

On the international stage, Tunisia bough 100 000 t of wheat and 50 000 t of feed barley origin unknown.

 

 

Wheat, harvest 2015, quotes at 161 €/t  on a July basis for a quality 76/220/11, delivery Rouen.

Chicago wheat trades to an equivalent of  162.55 €/t  for Mars 2016 delivery.

Durum wheat, harvest 2015, trades between 270 €/t nominal delivered Port La Nouvelle, standard quality.

Rapeseed, harvest 2015, quotes at 374 €/t nominal FOB Moselle, February 2016 delivery.

Feed barley, harvest 2015, quotes at 154 €/t  July basis for standard quality, delivery Rouen.

Malting barley, Sebastian variety, harvest 2015, quotes at 181 €/t July basis, FOB Creil.

Corn, harvest 2015, quotes at 157 €/t July basis, FOB Bordeaux.

Sunflower, harvest 2015, quotes at 410 €/t nominal, October delivery, equivalent Saint-Nazaire.

 

 

MARCHE AMERICAIN

Funds in Chicago continued with their sales while competition on soybeans and corn offered some support. However, the South American market is pressuring prices during this end of the year since the Argentinians have decided to finally lower their export taxes.

Export figures will be closely followed today; knowing that volumes are rather disappointing for the time being.

Funds were net sellers of 10 000 lots of corn yesterday as well as 5 000 lots of soybean and 4 000 lots of wheat..

Prices provided below are now for the 2015 harvest.

 

Corn Mars 2016, closed at 3.7725 $/bushel, - 1.75 cents from previous day.

Wheat Mars 2016, closed at 4.9425$/bushel, + 0.75 cents from previous day.

Soybean Mars 2016 closed at 8.6775  $/bushel  -8.25  from previous day.


Soy meal Mars 2016, closed at 273.90 $/t, - 3.70 $/t from previous day.

Soy oil Mars 2016, closed at 30.94 cents/lb, - 0.43 cents from previous day.

 

 

Black Sea market

Rapeseed shipments from Ukraine should be finish by the end of the week. Along November, Ukraine shipped only 100 000 t. Total exports from the beginning of the session at 1.28 Mt until the end of November and it still 200 000 t not already shipped. 450 000 t shipped to France, main destination followed by Belgium, 250 000 t, and Portugal , 150 000 t.

Among the Asiatic countries, Pakistan had imported near 150 000 t. On the local market, rapeseed slight declined. Quoted at 410 USD in FOB basis.
